Pantau - Aston Villa akhirnya bisa bergerak lebih leluasa di bursa transfer setelah resmi menjual Jacob Ramsey ke Newcastle United dengan harga €45 juta.

Penjualan Ramsey memberi ruang finansial bagi Villa yang sebelumnya terbentur aturan Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) Premier League.
Unai Emery pun menjadikan striker Chelsea, Nicolas Jackson, sebagai target utama.
Menurut laporan Sky Sport Deutschland, Villa sudah memasukkan nama Jackson dalam daftar belanja.
"Aston Villa have added Nicolas Jackson to their shortlist and are closely monitoring his situation. Talks have already taken place," ungkap jurnalis Florian Plettenberg melalui akun X.
Ia menambahkan, "Several clubs are interested. FC Bayern have also gathered information, but a move to Munich is not happening."
Jackson sendiri masih berada di ambang pintu keluar Chelsea, dengan estimasi nilai pasar mencapai €65,2 juta.
Emery memiliki kedekatan dengan Jackson karena pernah melatihnya saat masih di Villarreal.
Persaingan Ketat dan Kendala Finansial
Selain Villa, sejumlah klub lain juga memantau situasi Jackson.
Fabrizio Romano menyebutkan adanya minat dari Serie A, khususnya AC Milan.
"Keep an eye on Nicolas Jackson. He’s expected to leave Chelsea. He’s still looking for opportunities. There was interest from Newcastle but no bid, while there is still some interest from Premier League clubs but keep an eye on Italy for possibilities for Nicolas Jackson," kata Romano.
Ia melanjutkan, "Milan love him but the financial point is the crucial one."
Villa sendiri baru mendatangkan tiga pemain di musim panas ini, dengan rekrutan terbesar adalah Evann Guessand dari Nice senilai €30 juta.
Emery mengakui keterbatasan belanja akibat aturan PSR.
"We cannot avoid that the summer has been challenging because the financial rules were conditioning our investment in the squad. Financial control rules came to football to avoid bankruptcies and payment defaults with a good purpose," jelasnya.
Ia menambahkan, "But as professionals we should review it, as this good tool will become a limitation for clubs that are doing good management, who’ll never be allowed to dream and get higher goals because the revenue, key for these financial rules, needs time to come to reality after sporting success."
Dengan hengkangnya Ramsey, Villa Park kini terbuka untuk kedatangan pemain baru, dan Nicolas Jackson menjadi opsi terdepan.
