Pantau - The Badan Pengelola Keuangan Haji (BPKH) launched the "Balik Kerja Bareng BPKH 2025" program in Lampung to assist travelers returning after the Idul Fitri 1446 Hijriah holiday.
The program, which is being held for the first time in Lampung and Sumatra, facilitates 355 returning travelers (pemudik) from Lampung to their workplaces in Java.
The "Balik Kerja Bareng" program is completely free of charge and includes executive-class buses, t-shirts, and snacks for the travelers.
In addition to Lampung, the program is simultaneously being held in four other major cities: Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Solo, and Garut.
The initiative is part of BPKH's efforts to directly benefit the community by utilizing the value-added funds from the Dana Abadi Umat (Endowment Fund) it manages.
This year, the program expanded to include new routes in Sumatra and West Java, in addition to existing routes in Central and East Java.
The program was praised by the local government, with Ganjar Jationo, a senior official from the Lampung provincial government, thanking BPKH for its efforts and hoping the program can be expanded in the future to benefit more people.
The program helps reduce transportation costs for travelers and provides a more comfortable journey back to their workplaces.
